History: New Orleans Wiggle and the Greens...

New Orleans Wiggle (A. J. Piron 1923) A. J. Piron: Armand Piron's New Orleans Orchestra was one of the most popular bands in New Orleans in the 1920s. They travelled to New York and played at the Cotton Club and Roseland in 1923.

EN - The Green Brothers Novelty Band (with Lew Green Sr., Jeff's Grandfather) also recorded New Orleans Wiggle on March 12th 1924 for Edison. In the 1990s, the Green's New Novelty Orchestra (Lew Green Jr.) recorded it again, this time in stereo! In 2007, Jeff Green got in the act with this quartet version.

DE - Die Green Brothers Novelty Band (Lew Green Sr.) nahm New Orleans Wiggle am 12. März 1924 für Edison auf. In den 1990ern nahm die Green's New Novelty Orchestra (Lew Green Jr.) den Titel erneut auf, diesmal in Stereo! In 2007 tritt nun Jeff Green mit dieser Quartett-Version in Erscheinung.
